What is NUTRI-MATCH?

NUTRI-MATCH is an infinite range of prescription compounds fertilisers in which the analyses are formulated to match specific soil and crop nutrient requirements.

Do I need a prescription fertiliser?

The Professional Agricultural Analysis Group 2018/19 data highlights a real opportunity for improved nutrition. Results from around 195,000 samples showed:

Soil pH was <6.0 in 19% of arable samples and <5.5 in 19% of grassland samples
Around 30% of arable and grassland samples were at target P Index 2
29% of arable and 26% of grassland samples were at target K Index 2-
Just 9% of all samples were at target indices for both P and K

Do I need to sample my soils?

The Farming Rules for Water (otherwise know as the Reduction and Prevention of Agricultural Diffuse Pollution (England) Regulations 2018) came into force in April 2018.

It states that soils should be tested at least every 5 years for phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, pH and nitrogen levels. Nutrient Management plans must then be developed taking into account test results.

Are prescription blends fully traceable?

Every one of our 15,000 product range is fully traceable. Every bag has a unique identifier and all raw materials within each individual bag can be traced back to source.

Do prescription blends spread evenly?

All of our raw materials are tested under European standard EN1235/A1. This enables us to evaluate the Granulometric Spread Index of our raw materials so we can produce blends that spread evenly and accurately. We can calculate the average spacing between each granule to demonstrate that nutrients are evenly distributed and easily accessible for uptake by crop roots.

Do prescription blends have an accurate and consistent analysis?

Average analyses of 76 samples of our products taken by trading standards over the last 5 years (2016–2020) showed very high levels of accuracy and consistency.

Need a Carbon Footprint?

Our aim is to provide specific carbon footprints for our products, improving accuracy for recording and reporting. NUTRI-CO2OL, our independently ADAS verified carbon footprint model, was developed to account for changes in raw material sourcing, production and blending sites.
