For farmers with acidic soils and a low phosphate index, reseeding or growing longer term crops
Who are looking for plant available phosphate straight after application as well as providing a sustained release of nutrients for 3-4 years
Our product contains GAFSA BioPHOS, the world's most reactive soft rock phosphate, and is rich in calcium, sulphur and trace elements
GAFSA BioPHOS is suitable for all crop types, including organic
Our solution has been shown to increase root mass and fresh weight yield
It is tried, tested and proven in the UK and Ireland and available as straight P or in NPK and PK compounds
GAFSA BioPHOS brings together the world’s most reactive soft rock phosphate with humic and fulvic acids derived from high grade North Dakota Leonardite mineral deposits. It starts releasing plant-available phosphate straight after application, providing a sustained release of nutrients for 3-4 years.
As well as phosphate, GAFSA BioPHOS contains calcium, sulphur and magnesium. It also contains naturally occurring essential micro-nutrients including boron, cobalt, copper, iodine, manganese, selenium, sodium and zinc.
Yes. GAFSA BioPHOS 0-29.5-0 powered and GAFSA BioPHOS 1-27-0 are fully approved and unrestricted. GAFSA BioPHOS 0-18-17 and 0-13-26 are Soil Association approved but are restricted and therefore require derogation.

GAFSA BioPHOS brings rich source of secondary nutrients and trace elements. These improve soil fertility and enrich the nutritional value and palatability of grass and forages.
Calcium (Ca) | Sulphur (S) | Magnesium (Mg) |
---|---|---|
Buffers surface acidity and sweetens pastures | Increases N uptake and efficiency | Improves mineral balance within the sward |
Improves soil structure and fertility | Optimises photosynthesis for maximum growth | Reduces risk of grass tetany (staggers) |
Strengthens cell walls which increases resistance to stress and damage | Increases protein levels in grass and forage for higher feed value | Stimulates appetite leading to increased DM intake and utilisation |
Essential for muscle, bone and teeth development | Increases DM production for better utilisation | Improves palatability and aids tighter grazing |
GAFSA BioPHOS contains naturally occurring essential micro nutrients, including: Boron, Cobalt, Copper, Iodine, Manganese, Selenium, Sodium and Zinc |
Our aim is to provide specific carbon footprints for our products, improving accuracy for recording and reporting. NUTRI-CO2OL, our independently ADAS verified carbon footprint model, was developed to account for changes in raw material sourcing, production and blending sites.
An example of a carbon footprint for OEP is below. Contact us quoting the bag code on your bag tie for an accurate carbon footprint.
We produce over 17,000 different analyses across our 12 sites from a range of long-term partner suppliers. This makes it difficult for us to supply standard spreader settings.
Our rigorous checks on raw materials enable us to provide some important indicators about our prescription blends to help guide you when setting your spreader.
