Gafsa rock phosphate is generally accepted as being the best ground mineral phosphate available, containing valuable minerals and trace elements.
SFD’s new life range, which has been very successful to date, has now been complimented with the “Powercrop Range” of PK fertilisers whereas our New Life range contains both water soluble phosphate and Gafsa steady release phosphate, ideal for grass re-seeds and winter cereals. The Powercrop range contains 100% Gafsa as the phosphate source.
Powercrop 1, 2 and 3 can be applied in the autumn to a variety of crops such as established silage and grazing fields, then in the spring nitrogen can be applied to complement the system.

1-27-0 Phosmin (G27)
Granular version of Gafsa basic. Helps to improve the palatability of grass swards.

0-22-0 Natural 1
Ideal for fields that are low in phosphate. Natural 1 contains adequate levels of sulphate of potash for grazing systems.
0-18-17 Natural 2
A balanced fertiliser containing phosmin and sulphate of potash. General purpose fertiliser for grass and cropping systems.
0-13-26 Natural 3
Suitable for high yielding crops such as winter wheat or grass silage. Ideal for fields that are low for potash and moderate for phosphate.
0-0-50 + 45% So3 Sulphate of Potash
Suitable for correcting low soil potash indexes.
0-0-16 + 32% Na2O (Sodium) Meadowsalt
A natural source of potash, sodium, sulphur, boron, iron, calcium and manganese. Meadowsalt will stimulate your stocks' appetite and reduce wastage in grazed fields.

Powder Grades
0-29.5-0 Gafsa Basic
Gafsa is a steady release powder, that contains high levels of valuable minerals and trace elements. Approved by the Soil Association for Organic Farms, no restrictions apply. Basic can be applied every third year at the rate of 5 Cwt/Acre.
Granular Grades
0-27-0 Phosmin (G27)
Granular version of basic. Approved by the soil association for Organic farms, no restrictions apply. Easy to apply, Phosmin improves the palatability of grass swards by increasing the root structure of the sward.
3-32-0 3-12/20-0 Morephos*
Ideal for re-seeding. Morephos includes 12% water soluble, quick release phosphate and 20% Gafsa steady release phosphate which will provide long term benefits.
0-22-12 Powercrop 1
Suitable for grazing fields where soil phosphate levels are lower than soil potash levels, or where grass staggers in livestock is a problem. 100% Gafsa as the phosphate source.
0-19-19 Powercrop 2
Provides a balanced fertiliser where soil phosphate and potash levels are similar. Can be used for intensive or extensive grazing regimes. 100% Gafsa as the Phosphate source.
0-13.5-30 Powercrop 3
Ideal for multi cut silage systems. High in potash to boost silage yields good levels of Gafsa phosphate for root development and sugar production which will encourage a desirable fermentation in the silage 100% Gafsa as the Phosphate source.
0-9-40 Powercrop 4
Ideal for silage systems with very low levels of potash and adequate phosphate levels. 100% Gafsa phosphate as the phosphate source.
2-25-12 2-8/17-12 New Life 2*
Suitable for grazing fields that have low phosphate levels. Double action phosphate encourages both rapid and sustained root growth.
2-21-21 2-8/13-21 New Life 3*
Designed for use on cereals and grassland. Balanced fertiliser supplying good levels of quick/steady release phosphate and potash.
2-16-30 2-6/10-30 New Life 4*
Ideal for crops where high yields are expected or on sandy soils where potash levels are low.
5-22-22 5-12/10-22 New Life 5*
Generally used as a superior re-seeding fertiliser. Adequate non leaching nitrogen to establish the plant and good levels of Gafsa phosphate to feed the grass through the year.
5-25-15 5-12/13-12 New Life 6*
A grass re-seed fertiliser used where soil phosphate levels are low. Encourages good establishment due to the high levels of quick/steady release phosphate.
